Lotto Manager International 2
V2.0
28.Oct.2012

This program requires DirectX 10 or higher.
Windows XP/VISTA/7 (x86 & x64).

1-INTRODUCTION

This program was developed to generate draws for the official Lotto contests on TV.

It is called "International" because it is possible to adapt the settings for different countries.

There are already myriads of programs of this kind but this one is Freeware (freely distributable) and I consider it one of the best (if not the best) of them all.

With this program you can use lots of statistic techniques and it is even possible to have a text file with draws from official Lotto contests and automatically adjust the settings accordingly.

There are still some improvements to be done which are left for future releases.

5-HOW IT WORKS

Here is a brief explanation of how the program works. No need for deep philosophical text since the GUI is very intuitive.

TAB1 – "Main"
In this tab you can generate the draws.

There are the following buttons with special instructions:
CLEAR

Will get rid of the draws generated.
PRINT

Sends the draws generated (including the numbers hit after a SEARCH) to a .TXT file which you can open with
WordPad and print or use it for better scrolling through all the draws.
LOAD

Loads previous draws from a .LMS file.
SAVE

Saves the current draws to a .LMS file.
GENERATE

Will generate draws based on the preferences and techniques settings.
SEARCH

Will allow you to check how many numbers you have hit in the draws.
Use the structure:
   number1 number2 number3 number4 number5 number6 +supplemental
   Ex: 2 8 12 20 24 34 +45
EXIT Will exit the program.

TAB2 – "Preferences"

You can select the numbers to play or not play with and also fixed numbers. You can select the number of draws and numbers per draw. You can also select the price of playing with the numbers and the currency.

The checkbox to increase the random generating numbers moves generated numbers up, down, keep it or generate a new draw in order to make it more random, but it is slower.

The preferences are saved to lottoman2_V20.prefs .

TAB3 – "Techniques"
This tab isn’t fully working yet because it requires a lot more efforts. After it is fully working it will have more techniques.

It is possible to draw numbers based on a database of numbers which already came out in older TV contests. The best is to use the "Learn" button which will automatically read a text file with old draws and adjust the techniques.

Please notice that the techniques will only work if you want to generate draws with the numbers allowed in your country Lotto. For example: 6 numbers in Germany and 5 in Portugal.

The preferences of the techniques are saved to lottoman2_V20.prefs2 .

STATISTICS
Shows a graphical representation of the number of times each number has come out in official TV contests
based on the draws in a text file.

6-SOME TIPS

Please notice that although there is a "Learn" button in the "Techniques" TAB, some settings may be changed manually in order to improve the accuracy of the draws generation.

A good example of manual settings is changing the maximum sequence of numbers from 3 or 4 to just 2. It is true that in a draw or two there were 3 numbers in sequence, but that happens rarely which means it can be removed from the settings... this is just a tip and it can also be used with other techniques.

To search in the Portuguese Lotto in which the lucky number doesn't come in the draws of the program, one should write something like: 1 2 3 4 5 +0 (the supplemental number should be 0)

Type of accepted files:
  - The .SAV files are now .LMS (Lotto Manager Save)
  - The .DBA files are now .LMD (Lotto Manager Database)
